A cell inside an overlap belongs to two grids at the same time, but it still holds one value. That shared value must satisfy the row, column, and box constraints of both grids. The first challenge is therefore visual rather than technical. Trace the outline of all four 9x9 grids and identify which 3x3 boxes are shared. A long horizontal line across the printed puzzle is not automatically one Sudoku row from end to end. Think in component grids. Once those boundaries are clear, solve with familiar techniques. Singles, pairs, locked candidates, fish, and chains all remain valid when applied to the correct units.
